FINRA Fines Omni Financial Securities $10,000 for Rule Violations

Omni Financial Securities, Inc. has agreed to pay a $10,000 fine to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in a settlement over alleged rule violations.

From June 2023 through May 2025, the Columbus, Ohio-based firm failed to review or preserve business-related communications from its registered representatives. The communications included electronic messages sent or received through unapproved email accounts.

FINRA said the conduct violated Section 17(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, Exchange Act Rule 17a-4, and FINRA Rules 3110, 4511 and 2010.

Omni Financial Securities also agreed to a censure and must certify that it has corrected the issues.

The firm has been a FINRA member since 1992. It has seven registered representatives and one branch office, and primarily sells variable annuities and mutual funds.
