Mark Cubitt Steps Down From Beeks Financial Cloud Board
Non-Executive Director Mark Cubitt leaves the financial cloud firm after nearly a decade, with the company opting not to appoint an immediate replacement.
Mark Cubitt has resigned as a non-executive director of Beeks Financial Cloud Group plc effective November 6, 2026, ending almost a decade on the board.
Cubitt arrived at the cloud computing and connectivity provider before its initial public offering in 2017. He held the role of chairman until December 2024 and stayed on as a non-executive director. During his tenure, Beeks grew its revenue tenfold to £40.0 million in fiscal year 2026 while supplying cloud infrastructure and analytics to global financial institutions and exchanges. The company said his departure follows best practice guidelines and added that it does not plan to name a replacement at this time.
Chief Executive Officer Gordon McArthur said: "Mark has been alongside us since before the IPO and has played an important part in helping Beeks become the business it is today. We have greatly valued his advice and support for what we wanted to build. It has been a pleasure working with him over the past ten years, and he leaves with our thanks and very best wishes."
Cubitt said: "It has been an honour to be part of Beeks’ journey. Seeing the business grow from its early days before the IPO to working with some of the world’s leading financial institutions and exchanges has been hugely rewarding. I leave the Board with Beeks in its strongest position yet and with every confidence in Gordon and the team’s ability to make the most of the opportunity ahead."
